My initial experience working with the Williams team started in 1989. For 15 years, I worked in a variety of roles while gaining valuable knowledge and experience of the kitchen and bath industry. I was inspired by my talented co-workers, and enjoyed being able to help homeowners make their dream kitchen become a reality. I attending training seminars and gained more experience working as a designer.

I left Williams in 2003 to raise my family. Over the next several years I continued to work as an independent designer, working with both builders and homeowners. I also produced cabinetry designs for manufacturers such as Starmark and UltraCraft. In 2019, I returned to Williams as part of the design team.

I started my career at Williams, and I’m very excited to be a part of this amazing team once again. In many ways, the industry has changed over the years, but Williams maintains the same core values as when I worked here years ago. We call it H.E.A.R.T. – Honesty, Effort, Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork. Inspired by these values, our workplace is one that promotes success for everyone involved! I view my current role as being a member of a team. When I perform my job well, everyone wins – customer, salesperson, designer, builder, the whole company.

I’ve been working in the industry for almost 20 years. It’s safe to say that I love my work. I am inspired by the challenge of combining beauty and function into every design. I enjoy the creativity of design, and taking a customer’s Wish List and making it a reality for their home. It starts by listening to the customer. Once I understand what they want, it becomes a process of selecting the best ideas that will work for their space. It is important to establish trust right from the beginning. Homeowners are taking a big step when they start building or remodeling, so a little empathy goes a long way. I want my customers to know that they are working with someone who actually cares about their project, and at the end of the process I want them to be happy.

I grew up with a very artistic family. I can remember drawing with Chartpack Markers (professional rendering markers) every time I visited my grandparents. When determining my career path at Central Michigan University, I was instantly drawn towards a creative lifestyle. Little did I know I would love my job, the people I work with, and the company I work for.

Being a designer in the kitchen and bath industry I am able to create unique spaces that reflect the client’s dreams and ideas. It is so enjoyable to see how excited the client gets when their visions are put on paper, then into their homes!

Fun fact: I am a bit of an odd ball. I love horror movies and weird old antiques and taxidermy. I think this gives me an edge and makes it easy for me to get along, and work with all walks of life!

I’ve been working in the kitchen & bath industry since 1984. I can’t believe its been 34 years. I’ve seen so many changes in the industry and ups and downs in the economy. My father was part of the original team that established the kitchen division at Williams Distributing, the parent company of Williams Studio. I guess you can say it’s in my blood. My dad worked from home a lot while I was growing up, and I was always interested in his work. I think I did my first kitchen layout when I was 13 or so, and I was hooked from then on. I have worked in this business my entire life and am really excited about joining the Williams team!

Williams is a family owned company with values that are consistent with my own. I really am amazed by the incredible range of products that we offer. We really do have something to offer everyone. From stock cabinetry through full custom – we have cabinetry for every style and budget!

One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is the ability to bring to life a dream or an idea that a client may have had for years. It’s an amazing feeling when a client comes to visit me after their job is completed with pictures and hugs. I’m inspired daily by my team and by my clients. The best part of my job is the constant team collaboration.

I approach the design process by starting with my client’s vision. The fun really begins after I’ve gotten to know my client. I work my magic by adding accessories that will make their experience in their kitchen more enjoyable while creating something that is visually stunning.

I enjoy having fun with my clients. As hard as we try, remodeling and building doesn’t always go as planned. My clients know that I will be with them throughout the process. I approach most situations in life with humor and my goal is to have my clients leave with a smile even if the situation isn’t perfect. I pride myself on my ability to build relationships with my clients. The true measure of my success is the friends and family they refer to me after their project is complete.

I really enjoy working in the Williams Studio plumbing showroom. We have a beautiful space that helps our client’s dreams become reality. Most people don’t understand the importance of plumbing fixtures in their everyday life. Helping clients combine function with design, and create an end product they can enjoy, is very rewarding. Our design team is available to help my clients with the additional facets of the building process. This gives our customers plenty of options and is unlike any other plumbing showroom.

I will give you and your project the priority it deserves. I see all the details through from beginning to end, taking the pressure off the homeowner, and making sure their vision comes to life. I will help prepare quotes, provide excellent customer service, and follow through with all involved .

In my 10 years in the plumbing industry, I can tell you that Williams treats their employees and customers with honesty and integrity. You will enjoy working with us.
